I had my son back in September of 2021 and I can tell you that my camera roll is full of him (as well as my walls and picture frames!). I love capturing these ever changing days and moments in his life.
Moms aren't in photos as much and that's why I am here!
Oh, and as you read on, you will find that I love exclamation marks and show no mercy using them lol

After photographing hundreds of motherhood sessions over the past few years, I’ve found that we’re not the perfect fit for every family. I am someone who spends too much money at Starbucks (caffeine is life with a new baby lol) and can say "I should really get going" like 10 times before actually leaving.
I can't wait to get to know you more and capture your lives most precious moments!

These sessions are very near and dear to my heart as I just had my baby boy in 2021. You don't have to book all of the sessions but you will receive $100 off each session after your first 2!

types of sessions
Once your date is reserved, we'll connect to start chatting about possible locations for your session. We generally recommend choosing one location and if it's a place you haven't been before, it might be helpful to visit during the time our session will take place. That way you have an idea of the light, crowds, closing time, etc! If you're not sure about where you would like to take your photos but you have a general idea of the look you would like, just let us know because we would be happy to recommend a few locations based on your aesthetic!
LOCATION
If picking out outfits for photos takes you back to your high school days when you literally tried on everything in your closet and piled it on your bed but still felt like you had nothing to wear, you're in luck.
Once you have officially booked, contract and invoice completed, I am more than happy to help with any questions you may have regarding the outfits you will be wearing for your session.
waRDROBE STYLING
On the day before your session you will receive an email to confirm your time slot and any last minute information you will need to know. Thankfully for studio and indoor sessions we do not need to worry about the weather other than leaving with a time buffer if it's needed.
For outdoor sessions, I will be checking the weather starting 48 hours before the session. In the event of rain, we will move to the rain date we chose.
The SEssion
All images from our session will be sent to you via email through an online gallery within 7 business days. This gallery will allow you to share your favorites with family, order prints and even download images to share on social media.
Your gallery will remain active for six weeks.

Additional digital files, prints, and products are purchased separately within your gallery. Session fee does not go towards your collection fee. I do offer payment plans for the collection you choose to ensure you get exactly what you are looking for!
Mini sessions are available for announcements, gender reveal, and milestones (starting at $225). Travel fees may be added depending on location.

With the growth of online shops, shopping for your littles is more fun than ever! I recommend choosing color families (neutrals, blues, etc) over perfectly matching outfits. If you're looking for some inspiration or some of our favorite shops for kids, check out the link to our Pinterest board below!
FOR THE LITTLES
When picking outfits we recommend keeping in mind the word “complement” rather than “match.” For example, if Dad is wearing a blue and pink pastel plaid shirt, Mom may want to choose a long, soft blue dress. It can also be a great idea to choose “color-families,” such as pastels!

WARDROBE STYLING
The sooner the better! My weekends fill up quickly - especially during the spring and fall, so the sooner you reach out to me, the more likely you are to get your desired date!
To reserve your date, I'll need a contract signed as well as a retainer fee paid in full.
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BOOK?
Unless you've modeled professionally, you're probably going to feel awkward in front of the camera. Heck, I take photos for a living and I even feel like a deer in the headlights when I'm in front of the camera.
You're going to feel awkward at first, but as the session goes on and I coach you through images, I think you'll find that being photographed can actually be fun. And don't worry about your kids. I am well versed in capturing even the busiest of little ones.

No one wants to look like a wet dog in their photos so if it looks like it's going to rain, snow, hail or some other weather catastrophe, we will move to a rain date.
Often, when I am scheduling our initial portrait session date, if it works for our calendars, we'll actually set up both a main date and a rain date just to make sure we don't have to postpone your session for very long if the weather is bad on the original date.
WHAT IF IT RAINS?
Within 7 business days of your session, you will receive a link to a digital gallery that will allow you to select your images and download high resolution images.
The gallery is also set up to make ordering prints, canvases and other keepsakes as easy as turning on a Roomba to clean your floors. No worrying about tricky things like color correction, DPI and image format.
