I spoke with Reiam about booking her wedding and I knew once she told me a few things about that day that we would click! I finally got to meet her and Scotty last Sunday for their engagement session.
Originally Reiam and Scotty are looking for a location with both boats and a mountain, rocky background. Unfortunately I didn’t know of an area that had both of those in close range. I am beyond ecstatic that they chose to Annapolis. We got both the summer look at Pier 4 Marina and the beautiful fall scenery at Quiet Waters Park. Now let me tell you this before you see any of the images….. These two know how to have fun and they look great doing it. They were running around, having leaf fights, and piggyback rides! There was never a dull moment with these two!
I can not wait to be apart of Scotty + Reiam’s special day next year and am so honored that they chose me to capture their special day! Here are just a few of my favorite images from their engagement session.
xoxo, Jade
Is there anything better than a maternity session on the beach…? (Hint: the answer is no…. lol) I vividly remember the day that Anna told me she was pregnant. I was just leaving base in Germany and pulled over since she was calling me on video. To say I was in disbelief is an […]
COVID-19 has definitely changed a lot this year in so many ways from how we style and celebrate milestones to how we socialize with friends and family. This past week Chandler asked me for some ideas of how to capture her birthday which just so happened to be the last day of her lock in […]
A little backstory before product photography came into my life… I started really getting into photographing other people when we were in Florida in 2015. We then moved to Maryland in December of 2015 and that is when my business grew. I had regular clients, weddings, second shot a lot of weddings, and finally began […]
I remember how terribly inconsistent I was with poses during an engagement session back when I started photography and my oh my.. Do you remember Anna? Back in July of 2016 I was invited to a styled shoot by a friend 30 minutes before it started. I ended up getting stuck in traffic on […]
One thing I have learned from this quarantine (as a family photographer) is that there is always more work that can be done to work on your craft. Even if that does not include shooting. I am going back through older sessions and came across this session with my best friend Natalie of Natalie Grace […]
If you are stationed in Germany, you have most likely been to Burg Lichtenberg at least a handful of times. This is one of my favorite castles to go to for family sessions. The kids love to run around and play and the adults can really take in the scenery around Burg Lichtenberg. Going to this […]
I glad you were able to get a location with boats. Seems like the other locations were great substitutes for the rocks. These are beautiful and I can’t wait to see the wedding pictures. I’m glad you two instantly connected.
Such a gorgeous engagement session!! I especially adore those ring shots!!
Each set of this engagement session gets better and better! I love Them!
Beautiful photos! I love the first location too, so unique!!
love the ones of them in the buffalo plaid!
Love both of these settings! They are both so different so they got a really nice variety of images. And the colors, beautiful! Such a pretty engagement session.
