I met Steven, Kelly, and Emma when they came over to our house for a 4th of July celebration in 2016. Steven and Nick, my husband, went to ALS (Airman Leadership School) together and became instant best friends; as did Kelly and I. Ever since then all of us have been inseparable. Nick and Steven would go fishing and hunting and Kelly, Emma, and I would go shopping at either Target or Ikea or would head to the park to let Emma run all of her energy out! Almost every time we are together at a park, I take pictures of Emma and it is so crazy to look back at them and see how much she has grown since the first photo I took of her.
1 week ago from today my best friend and little miss Emma said see you soon to her husband/daddy when he had to leave for Florida for 6 months of training. Being apart of the military, the enlisted member, spouse, or family member, is tough all the way around. Although the distance is tough, having a support system will make the time fly by and once it comes time to be reunited it will feel like time has flown by! One thing I have found while being apart of the military community is that there is endless support not only from family but from friends where you are stationed. Kelly is now playing the single mom roll and as I have heard from all friends who have kids, it takes a village!! Now it is time to start planning some fun adventures with Emma and Kelly to pass this time by! 🙂
Just when Emma was starting to get antsy and wanted to go home, while we were walking to the car she start cheesing it up and we got a couple of the best shots! I am so grateful for the Cutiyog Family and thankful that Nick and Steven were in the same class!

Is there anything better than a maternity session on the beach…? (Hint: the answer is no…. lol) I vividly remember the day that Anna told me she was pregnant. I was just leaving base in Germany and pulled over since she was calling me on video. To say I was in disbelief is an […]
COVID-19 has definitely changed a lot this year in so many ways from how we style and celebrate milestones to how we socialize with friends and family. This past week Chandler asked me for some ideas of how to capture her birthday which just so happened to be the last day of her lock in […]
A little backstory before product photography came into my life… I started really getting into photographing other people when we were in Florida in 2015. We then moved to Maryland in December of 2015 and that is when my business grew. I had regular clients, weddings, second shot a lot of weddings, and finally began […]
I remember how terribly inconsistent I was with poses during an engagement session back when I started photography and my oh my.. Do you remember Anna? Back in July of 2016 I was invited to a styled shoot by a friend 30 minutes before it started. I ended up getting stuck in traffic on […]
One thing I have learned from this quarantine (as a family photographer) is that there is always more work that can be done to work on your craft. Even if that does not include shooting. I am going back through older sessions and came across this session with my best friend Natalie of Natalie Grace […]
If you are stationed in Germany, you have most likely been to Burg Lichtenberg at least a handful of times. This is one of my favorite castles to go to for family sessions. The kids love to run around and play and the adults can really take in the scenery around Burg Lichtenberg. Going to this […]
