As my time here in Maryland before moving to Germany is ending, I am feeling more and more thankful for all of my clients! I met Sarah and her family when we moved here! They used to live in the neighborhood we did and I bought some newborn items from her as she is a fellow photographer! I was so thrilled when she messaged me last week looking to book a session! It was so nice to see them again before we move since they moved out of the neighborhood.
After the session, she sent me a message saying: “The kids said they want to do this again.” This is what makes me love my job more and more every day!
I can’t wait to send them their full gallery! I have no idea how they are going to choose only 10 images……
Even the parents deserve some time together!!

COVID-19 has definitely changed a lot this year in so many ways from how we style and celebrate milestones to how we socialize with friends and family. This past week Chandler asked me for some ideas of how to capture her birthday which just so happened to be the last day of her lock in […]
A little backstory before product photography came into my life… I started really getting into photographing other people when we were in Florida in 2015. We then moved to Maryland in December of 2015 and that is when my business grew. I had regular clients, weddings, second shot a lot of weddings, and finally began […]
I remember how terribly inconsistent I was with poses during an engagement session back when I started photography and my oh my.. Do you remember Anna? Back in July of 2016 I was invited to a styled shoot by a friend 30 minutes before it started. I ended up getting stuck in traffic on […]
One thing I have learned from this quarantine (as a family photographer) is that there is always more work that can be done to work on your craft. Even if that does not include shooting. I am going back through older sessions and came across this session with my best friend Natalie of Natalie Grace […]
If you are stationed in Germany, you have most likely been to Burg Lichtenberg at least a handful of times. This is one of my favorite castles to go to for family sessions. The kids love to run around and play and the adults can really take in the scenery around Burg Lichtenberg. Going to this […]
What is the first thing an engagement photographer thinks of when a client says they want to do their photos in Washington DC? Sunrise. Daily I go back and forth between whether or not I like sunrise or sunset better. I have to say though after Julie + Jordan’s engagement session, I prefer the lighting […]
