I went to Paris last weekend. Casually went to Paris. I never, ever thought those words would come out of my mouth.
My friend Emily found this dress while we were shopping in Saarbrücken a couple months ago. She found it as we were walking out of T.K.Maxx and immediately said that it would look perfect for a shoot. Instantly knew that it needed to be shot in front of the Eiffel Tower at some point. I didn’t really want to spend that much on it (50 euro) so I decided to walk out and think about. I figured that I would check back on our way out and see if it was still there. After making it about 10 steps out the door and turned around to go get it.
Fast forward to this past weekend. I searched and searched for a couple in my area that was possibly going to Paris the same days as me to model. Sadly, I couldn’t find anyone that fit my vision. On our first night in Paris, I decided to look through locations and hashtags on Instagram to hopefully find a couple that was currently there. Breanna and I must have been looking for over 30 minutes when she found a photo that Pamela had posted of her and Aleksander in front of the Eiffel Tower. I instantly messaged her! We got all of the details worked and I could not be anymore in love with these images.

Is there anything better than a maternity session on the beach…? (Hint: the answer is no…. lol) I vividly remember the day that Anna told me she was pregnant. I was just leaving base in Germany and pulled over since she was calling me on video. To say I was in disbelief is an […]
COVID-19 has definitely changed a lot this year in so many ways from how we style and celebrate milestones to how we socialize with friends and family. This past week Chandler asked me for some ideas of how to capture her birthday which just so happened to be the last day of her lock in […]
A little backstory before product photography came into my life… I started really getting into photographing other people when we were in Florida in 2015. We then moved to Maryland in December of 2015 and that is when my business grew. I had regular clients, weddings, second shot a lot of weddings, and finally began […]
I remember how terribly inconsistent I was with poses during an engagement session back when I started photography and my oh my.. Do you remember Anna? Back in July of 2016 I was invited to a styled shoot by a friend 30 minutes before it started. I ended up getting stuck in traffic on […]
One thing I have learned from this quarantine (as a family photographer) is that there is always more work that can be done to work on your craft. Even if that does not include shooting. I am going back through older sessions and came across this session with my best friend Natalie of Natalie Grace […]
If you are stationed in Germany, you have most likely been to Burg Lichtenberg at least a handful of times. This is one of my favorite castles to go to for family sessions. The kids love to run around and play and the adults can really take in the scenery around Burg Lichtenberg. Going to this […]
