I can finally say that I have photographed a destination wedding in Tuscany….
….If I am being honest, I am so stinking proud of it.
And not even just because of the location…. It was one of my best friends who got married. I met Stacey 6 years ago all thanks to a small military spouse group. I do not talk to many ladies from the group and even though Stacey and I don’t talk everyday, I still feel very close to her. We finally met in person after 5 years last summer and then she came up to Germany for Thanksgiving. She told me while she was visiting that she was getting to know someone special. I talked to Lance on the phone twice and I knew they were a good match.
Stacey told me they pushed up the wedding to September 5th and asked if I was still able to make. I immediately sprung into action getting most of my homework done, got the car fixed up, recruited my friend Erica to make the trip with me, and left on September 3rd! It was a busy week but I wouldn’t change it for the world!
The second Stacey told me that they were getting married at a castle, I knew it was going to feel like a fairytale. Stacey managed to get everything planned from the venue to florist and everything in-between planned in 5 days. INSANE.
It was such an honor to capture Lance + Stacey’s wedding day and I wish you both nothing but the best and a lifetime of happiness together!

Is there anything better than a maternity session on the beach…? (Hint: the answer is no…. lol) I vividly remember the day that Anna told me she was pregnant. I was just leaving base in Germany and pulled over since she was calling me on video. To say I was in disbelief is an […]
COVID-19 has definitely changed a lot this year in so many ways from how we style and celebrate milestones to how we socialize with friends and family. This past week Chandler asked me for some ideas of how to capture her birthday which just so happened to be the last day of her lock in […]
A little backstory before product photography came into my life… I started really getting into photographing other people when we were in Florida in 2015. We then moved to Maryland in December of 2015 and that is when my business grew. I had regular clients, weddings, second shot a lot of weddings, and finally began […]
I remember how terribly inconsistent I was with poses during an engagement session back when I started photography and my oh my.. Do you remember Anna? Back in July of 2016 I was invited to a styled shoot by a friend 30 minutes before it started. I ended up getting stuck in traffic on […]
One thing I have learned from this quarantine (as a family photographer) is that there is always more work that can be done to work on your craft. Even if that does not include shooting. I am going back through older sessions and came across this session with my best friend Natalie of Natalie Grace […]
If you are stationed in Germany, you have most likely been to Burg Lichtenberg at least a handful of times. This is one of my favorite castles to go to for family sessions. The kids love to run around and play and the adults can really take in the scenery around Burg Lichtenberg. Going to this […]
