I have loved getting back into newborn photography since we moved back to the Annapolis area!
There is nothing better than being welcomed into my clients home to capture the first moments after having a baby. Capturing the snuggly moments as a family, the kisses from big brother, and the small details in the nursery are just a few of my favorite parts of a newborn session. I always make it a point to photograph the little details of your baby before they start growing and changing. While we look at them a hundred times a day, small moments tend to fade as time goes on. This makes my job even more important!
While we were not able to do Evelyns newborn session before the optimum window of 2 weeks old, she was a champ at 4 weeks! She was very calm and showed off her gorgeous eyes. It’s so hard to fully choose my favorite but I absolutely love newborns and it may be my favorite part of the parenthood journey sessions!

Is there anything better than a maternity session on the beach…? (Hint: the answer is no…. lol) I vividly remember the day that Anna told me she was pregnant. I was just leaving base in Germany and pulled over since she was calling me on video. To say I was in disbelief is an […]
COVID-19 has definitely changed a lot this year in so many ways from how we style and celebrate milestones to how we socialize with friends and family. This past week Chandler asked me for some ideas of how to capture her birthday which just so happened to be the last day of her lock in […]
A little backstory before product photography came into my life… I started really getting into photographing other people when we were in Florida in 2015. We then moved to Maryland in December of 2015 and that is when my business grew. I had regular clients, weddings, second shot a lot of weddings, and finally began […]
I remember how terribly inconsistent I was with poses during an engagement session back when I started photography and my oh my.. Do you remember Anna? Back in July of 2016 I was invited to a styled shoot by a friend 30 minutes before it started. I ended up getting stuck in traffic on […]
One thing I have learned from this quarantine (as a family photographer) is that there is always more work that can be done to work on your craft. Even if that does not include shooting. I am going back through older sessions and came across this session with my best friend Natalie of Natalie Grace […]
If you are stationed in Germany, you have most likely been to Burg Lichtenberg at least a handful of times. This is one of my favorite castles to go to for family sessions. The kids love to run around and play and the adults can really take in the scenery around Burg Lichtenberg. Going to this […]
