There’s something so special about photographing a family as they welcome a new baby — especially when that baby is their first son after two sweet girls! This session with the Impeduglia family was full of love, laughter, and those perfectly imperfect little moments that make at-home sessions so meaningful.
Rather than a traditional nursery setup, we stayed right in the heart of their home — Mom and Dad’s bedroom. The soft blue walls, natural light, and cozy textures created the most beautiful backdrop for this milestone. It just goes to show that you don’t need a perfectly styled nursery to capture timeless newborn portraits — love and connection are all you really need.
One of my favorite parts of this session was how each child’s personality shined through. Their middle daughter decided pajamas were the outfit of choice that morning — and honestly, it couldn’t have been more perfect. Her parents rolled with it, knowing that capturing who their kids really are is so much more meaningful than perfection. Sometimes, as photographers (and parents!), we just have to pivot and let go of control. That’s where the magic happens.
Between giggles, snuggles, and a few snack breaks, we documented a chapter of life that’s as real as it is beautiful — a family of five learning to love in new ways. The result? A gallery full of warmth, authenticity, and joy. Because even in the beautiful chaos of three little ones, there’s always room for love — and that’s what these photos tell best.

Is there anything better than a maternity session on the beach…? (Hint: the answer is no…. lol) I vividly remember the day that Anna told me she was pregnant. I was just leaving base in Germany and pulled over since she was calling me on video. To say I was in disbelief is an […]

COVID-19 has definitely changed a lot this year in so many ways from how we style and celebrate milestones to how we socialize with friends and family. This past week Chandler asked me for some ideas of how to capture her birthday which just so happened to be the last day of her lock in […]

A little backstory before product photography came into my life… I started really getting into photographing other people when we were in Florida in 2015. We then moved to Maryland in December of 2015 and that is when my business grew. I had regular clients, weddings, second shot a lot of weddings, and finally began […]

I remember how terribly inconsistent I was with poses during an engagement session back when I started photography and my oh my.. Do you remember Anna? Back in July of 2016 I was invited to a styled shoot by a friend 30 minutes before it started. I ended up getting stuck in traffic on […]

One thing I have learned from this quarantine (as a family photographer) is that there is always more work that can be done to work on your craft. Even if that does not include shooting. I am going back through older sessions and came across this session with my best friend Natalie of Natalie Grace […]
