There are some announcements that feel surreal to write, and this is definitely one of them…

We’re moving to Alaska.

For our family, this isn’t just a change of scenery—it’s the start of an entirely new adventure. As a military family, we’ve learned that home isn’t always a place; it’s the people you’re with. Every move has stretched us, taught us something new, and introduced us to incredible families along the way. Now it’s Alaska’s turn, and we couldn’t be more excited.

While there are plenty of things we’ll miss about Maryland, we’re looking forward to everything that makes Alaska so special—the breathtaking mountain views, endless summer evenings, snowy winters, and the close-knit communities that make it feel like home. I can’t wait to explore Anchorage, Eagle River, Palmer, Wasilla, Girdwood, and all of the beautiful places in between.
