Don't worry—I won't leave you to figure it out on your own! After booking, you'll receive my wardrobe guide filled with tips on colors, textures, and coordinating outfits that photograph beautifully. My goal is to help your family look timeless and cohesive while still feeling comfortable and like yourselves.
I recommend booking your session at least one to three months in advance, especially during the busy summer and fall seasons. This gives us plenty of time to plan your session, coordinate outfits, and secure the perfect date. If you're expecting a baby or have a special milestone coming up, reaching out even earlier is always encouraged.
Absolutely! As a military family ourselves, I understand firsthand the unique seasons that come with military life. Whether you're celebrating a homecoming, welcoming a new baby, documenting your family before a PCS, or simply making the most of your time in Alaska, it would be an honor to help preserve those memories.
Living in Alaska means the weather can be unpredictable, but don't worry—we'll keep a close eye on the forecast leading up to your session. If conditions aren't ideal, we'll simply reschedule for the next available date. My goal is to create beautiful images in the best possible light, so I'd much rather wait for the right conditions than rush into a session.
One of the things I love most about Anchorage is the incredible variety of scenery available throughout the year. From mountain views and peaceful lakes to colorful fall foliage and stunning coastal landscapes, we'll choose a location that fits your family's style and the look you're hoping to achieve. I'll help guide you to the perfect spot based on the season, lighting, and the overall feel you envision for your session.
