Whether you are booking a family, couple, or newborn session, my job is to capture images in a way that you would like to preserve your memories and accomplishments. Every session I photograph is different and unique in their own way.
I get asked a lot, "What do you do when a child is not cooperating? Should we reschedule?" Most of the time, the answer is no. When I first started photographing families I was very basic with the posing and realized that it was actually ruining the sessions. When children are apart of a session, I make sure to do the session around what interests them. Do this for you, for your family, and for future generations to look back on.
The most commonly booked milestone sessions would be 6 months and a 1 year cake smash. I also offer packages for these sessions that include 3mo, 6mo, 9mo, and 1 year! You can find that info below!
Milestones
The best time for your babies newborn session is within the first two weeks of being earth side. They are still very sleepy and easier to capture those small details that they quickly grow out of. These sessions can take place in my studio, outdoors, or in your home as a lifestyle session. *I do not offer posed newborn sessions*

Pregnancy announcements, gender reveals, and maternity sessions are just a few of the big moments to capture before your baby is in your arms. I have also had some clients book me to capture their baby showers!

READY TO BOOK?
The sooner the better! My weekends tend to fill up pretty quickly - especially during the spring and fall, so the sooner you reach out to us, the more likely you are to get your desired date!
To reserve your date, I'll need a contract signed as well as a retainer fee paid in full.
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BOOK?
Unless you've modeled professionally, you're probably going to feel awkward in front of the camera. Heck, we take photos for a living and we even feel like a deer in the headlights when we're in front of the camera.
You're going to feel awkward at first, but as the session goes on and we coach you through images, I think you'll find that being photographed can actually be fun.
I'm Awkward in front of the camera..
No one wants to look like a wet dog in their photos so if it looks like it's going to rain, snow, hail or some other weather catastrophe, we will move to a rain date.
Often, when I am scheduling our initial portrait session date, if it works for our calendars, we'll actually set up both a main date and a rain date just to make sure we don't have to postpone your session for very long if the weather is bad on the original date.
WHAT IF IT RAINS?
Within 2 weeks of your session, you will receive a link to a digital gallery that will allow you to select your images and download high resolution images.
Your gallery is also set up to make ordering prints, canvases and other keepsakes as easy as turning on a Roomba to clean your floors. No worrying about tricky things like color correction, DPI and image format.
How will I receive our photos?
Of course you can! They are apart of the family!
We just have to make sure that if the session does not take place at your house that the location allows pets.
