Last summer I had the honor of photographing Chris + Rachel’s big day at The Osprey’s at Belmont Bay wedding venue alongside Natalie Grace Photography.
Although the heat was a little much at times, it did not stop us from capturing the most amazing images out by the waterfront. Natalie gave me some pretty big news on the way to the venue. Rachel informed Natalie that her father was diagnosed stage 4 melanoma and was given one year to live. He passed away just a week ago, five days short of that one year mark. After hearing that news, I made sure to keep my eye on him and capture as much as I can of him with his family.
Our job as photographers is more than just taking photos We are capturing memories one shutter click at a time. <3
Chris + Rachel, I wish you both nothing but the best <3
Does the groom look familiar?? He was in one of my recent blog posts, Gift Ideas for the Groom! To inquire about your upcoming wedding please visit my contact page!
Hint hint: I would to photograph another beautiful Osprey’s at Belmont Bay wedding soon!
Is there anything better than a maternity session on the beach…? (Hint: the answer is no…. lol) I vividly remember the day that Anna told me she was pregnant. I was just leaving base in Germany and pulled over since she was calling me on video. To say I was in disbelief is an […]
COVID-19 has definitely changed a lot this year in so many ways from how we style and celebrate milestones to how we socialize with friends and family. This past week Chandler asked me for some ideas of how to capture her birthday which just so happened to be the last day of her lock in […]
A little backstory before product photography came into my life… I started really getting into photographing other people when we were in Florida in 2015. We then moved to Maryland in December of 2015 and that is when my business grew. I had regular clients, weddings, second shot a lot of weddings, and finally began […]
I remember how terribly inconsistent I was with poses during an engagement session back when I started photography and my oh my.. Do you remember Anna? Back in July of 2016 I was invited to a styled shoot by a friend 30 minutes before it started. I ended up getting stuck in traffic on […]
One thing I have learned from this quarantine (as a family photographer) is that there is always more work that can be done to work on your craft. Even if that does not include shooting. I am going back through older sessions and came across this session with my best friend Natalie of Natalie Grace […]
If you are stationed in Germany, you have most likely been to Burg Lichtenberg at least a handful of times. This is one of my favorite castles to go to for family sessions. The kids love to run around and play and the adults can really take in the scenery around Burg Lichtenberg. Going to this […]
Beautiful photos. Your work is lovely.
