Just shy of 1 year ago my friend Anna with Lifestyle by Anna Elizabeth called me to tell that someone had reached out to her wanting to know who her photographer. I am so beyond happy that Megan had reached out because hers and Andrews wedding is one of my top 5 favorite!
The day started out (and stayed!!) sunny with barely any clouds in the sky. If you are in the Maryland, DC, Virginia area you know that the days leading up to the 28th were all rain with flood warnings. Andrew + Megan’s families came together and did everything in their power to dry up the property. Megan told me that they spent the 26th and 27th from 8am-8pm trying to get it as try as possible. Now that is what I call dedication…. They got married on a little waterfront property that they go to for many community gatherings. all of the decorations came together beautifully and the only part that was still a little wet was under the set but that didn’t stop anyone!
Andrew + Megan’s advice: “Love every part of it. There are parts that are more fun than others but see the best in everything. Have a positive attitude and truly realize and understand the love that surrounds you. The amount of help and support we have been given is so overwheleming. Be appreciative about everything!”

I could never trade being a wedding photographer for anything else! I really that I can continue photographing weddings in Germany <3

There’s something so special about photographing a family as they welcome a new baby — especially when that baby is their first son after two sweet girls! This session with the Impeduglia family was full of love, laughter, and those perfectly imperfect little moments that make at-home sessions so meaningful. Rather than a traditional nursery […]

Is there anything better than a maternity session on the beach…? (Hint: the answer is no…. lol) I vividly remember the day that Anna told me she was pregnant. I was just leaving base in Germany and pulled over since she was calling me on video. To say I was in disbelief is an […]

COVID-19 has definitely changed a lot this year in so many ways from how we style and celebrate milestones to how we socialize with friends and family. This past week Chandler asked me for some ideas of how to capture her birthday which just so happened to be the last day of her lock in […]

A little backstory before product photography came into my life… I started really getting into photographing other people when we were in Florida in 2015. We then moved to Maryland in December of 2015 and that is when my business grew. I had regular clients, weddings, second shot a lot of weddings, and finally began […]

I remember how terribly inconsistent I was with poses during an engagement session back when I started photography and my oh my.. Do you remember Anna? Back in July of 2016 I was invited to a styled shoot by a friend 30 minutes before it started. I ended up getting stuck in traffic on […]

One thing I have learned from this quarantine (as a family photographer) is that there is always more work that can be done to work on your craft. Even if that does not include shooting. I am going back through older sessions and came across this session with my best friend Natalie of Natalie Grace […]
