As a photographer, the second Missy told me she was pregnant I told her that I would fly back to Maryland and take maternity photos for her and Scott! I was on FaceTime with Missy and all of a sudden she pointed the camera to the ground and said “Guess what!!!” Next thing I know she points the camera to the wall with a framed ultrasound picture….. I SCREAMED!!!! I was so stinking excited. Little did I know until I went to see her that she knew during our Galentine’s Day party back in mid February! I have no idea how she held that news in while she was over and before I left!
When we showed up to the Thomas Jefferson Memorial, we noticed that almost all of it was under construction. I was so upset…… It was also very windy! We made the most out of the situation that we could and I am not gonna lie, I think we did pretty good! Baby Freeman stole the show anyways…. <3
You can find other Maryland sessions on my blog and on Instagram! As a photographer, I have been able to capture maternity and newborn photos for many of my clients in Maryland. Contact me today to book your session!

A little backstory before product photography came into my life… I started really getting into photographing other people when we were in Florida in 2015. We then moved to Maryland in December of 2015 and that is when my business grew. I had regular clients, weddings, second shot a lot of weddings, and finally began […]
I remember how terribly inconsistent I was with poses during an engagement session back when I started photography and my oh my.. Do you remember Anna? Back in July of 2016 I was invited to a styled shoot by a friend 30 minutes before it started. I ended up getting stuck in traffic on […]
One thing I have learned from this quarantine (as a family photographer) is that there is always more work that can be done to work on your craft. Even if that does not include shooting. I am going back through older sessions and came across this session with my best friend Natalie of Natalie Grace […]
If you are stationed in Germany, you have most likely been to Burg Lichtenberg at least a handful of times. This is one of my favorite castles to go to for family sessions. The kids love to run around and play and the adults can really take in the scenery around Burg Lichtenberg. Going to this […]
