There is nothing more special that to be the photographer that captures a family from birth to 1 years old and I love having the opportunity to continue these sessions here in the KMC area.
I have to start off this post by saying I owe my love of photographing newborns and milestones because Sami and Robert believed in me. This is the very first newborn session I had ever done and my first ever session indoors. I am so thankful for white walls lol I had plenty of natural light coming in and it could not have gone any better! Although, Kai did leak through his diaper 3 times…. All on the white comforter lol Other than that, he did absolutely amazing! It was so cool to be able to photograph Kai and his family during the first year of his life. The Woolf family ended up becoming some of my best friends while we were in Maryland. During Kai’s 6 month shoot, their oldest son, Ethan, made me an ornament for my christmas tree. Every year when I put it on my tree, I think back to these shoots. I owe a lot of what I have learned to this beautiful family. <3
One thing that I loved about two of his sessions, newborn and 1 year, is that we used the boat for both of them!! I thought it was a perfect way to show growth <3

Is there anything better than a maternity session on the beach…? (Hint: the answer is no…. lol) I vividly remember the day that Anna told me she was pregnant. I was just leaving base in Germany and pulled over since she was calling me on video. To say I was in disbelief is an […]
COVID-19 has definitely changed a lot this year in so many ways from how we style and celebrate milestones to how we socialize with friends and family. This past week Chandler asked me for some ideas of how to capture her birthday which just so happened to be the last day of her lock in […]
A little backstory before product photography came into my life… I started really getting into photographing other people when we were in Florida in 2015. We then moved to Maryland in December of 2015 and that is when my business grew. I had regular clients, weddings, second shot a lot of weddings, and finally began […]
I remember how terribly inconsistent I was with poses during an engagement session back when I started photography and my oh my.. Do you remember Anna? Back in July of 2016 I was invited to a styled shoot by a friend 30 minutes before it started. I ended up getting stuck in traffic on […]
One thing I have learned from this quarantine (as a family photographer) is that there is always more work that can be done to work on your craft. Even if that does not include shooting. I am going back through older sessions and came across this session with my best friend Natalie of Natalie Grace […]
If you are stationed in Germany, you have most likely been to Burg Lichtenberg at least a handful of times. This is one of my favorite castles to go to for family sessions. The kids love to run around and play and the adults can really take in the scenery around Burg Lichtenberg. Going to this […]
